Splendid oversize book on the making of what was the most beautiful film of 1993. This was a difficult film to make and adapt, and the book includes the screenplay along with notes on the making of the film, and many beautiful full color stills and photos. Photo of the leads pasted on the front cover of the book, which is overlaid with a clear plastic jacket. Fine/fine. LAID IN THE BOOK IS A RARE OVEROVER PUBLICITY HANDBILL FOR THE DOCUMENTARY "MOVIES ARE MY LIFE" which is a short 50 minutes early doc. on Scorsese and that was made by Peter Hayden in 1977. Illus. with two photos. Vg. Also laid in is a large folded poster like photo of a young Scorsese which is on the verso of an except from a short story.
