A biography of Napoleon Bonaparte "Peaceful" Mitchell, a seventeen-year old Tennesseean in the Army of Texas in 1836, one of thirteen men in Davy Crocket's Tennessee Volunteers who died defending the "Palisade" wall of the Alamo. Written for a young adult audience; in the publisher's "Stories for Young Americans" series.
