Two-color pictorial endpapers; color pictorial frontispiece and numerous b&w illustrations. Corners and spine ends lightly rubbed, some faint foxing at top and bottom edge of sheets (but no internal foxing), else a fine copy. Signed by the author, Post Wheeler.

First edition. A collection of 10 fairy tales from the Albanian tradition collected and retold by Post Wheeler and featuring illustrations from Caldecott Medalists Maud and Miska Petersham.
