Grosset & Dunlap Red hardcover binding with black titles and illustration of man's face square but a bit shaky, bumped corners. Hinge crack inside of first blank pages. B/W frontispiece illustration same as color dustjacket. 298 pages with just minor foxing and soiling. DJ soiled with shelfwear, some chips and tears, protected now in clean Brodart jacket. Reverse side lists other G&D fiction titles. Story of a crook named Red Ryan and a beautiful woman, Hope Halleck.. Illus. by De Maris, Walter (jacket and frontispiece only). 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Reprint. Hardcover. Good/Good.
