Hardcover has orange textured paper-covered boards with dark green spine and cover lettering and decorations. Spine lettering is on gold panel, and publisher's name is in gold. Front cover has a dark green border on the left with design of a moon, stars, a mask and dagger, and a rope with tassels; author's name in a star outline. 261 pages. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends lightly bumped. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Covers lightly soiled. Name in ink on front free endpaper. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. A few pages are dog-eared. Pages clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Leslie Ford is a pseudonym of Zenith Jones Brown, who also published as David Frome. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
