Clean, unmarked. 210pp, b&w photographic illustrations. account of the progress of Cecil Lewis throughout his varied career. He tells of his days in WWI, flying SE5s with No 56 Squadron RFC, and of his post-war contract with Vickers teaching the Chinese to fly. He then moved to the BBC and became an accomplished author and film director, eventually to find himself a spiritual leader. Written when he was 95, this is an amazing record of a unique life.
