A fascinating biography and history of Sir Charles Wyndham, Mary Moore and James Albery and the theatres that bear their name. Sir Charles served as a surgeon during the American Civil War before making a name as an actor, manager and proprietor and married Albery's widow Mary Moore, a talented actress and saviour of the family's fortunes.
