Very Good Blue boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. In the original publisher's pictorial dustjacket. The dustjacket is Not clipped, but there is a little light wear to the edges, and the d/j base colour to the spine and to part of the covers has faded. The lettering to the spine of the d/j is clear but due to the fading has turned from (presumably? ) brown to blue. The d/j is complete and now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks pretty good. Top page edge VERY lightly foxed (small light brown spots) . News/illustrated endpapers. A large presentation note to the new owner for his 70th birthday on the Half Title, o/w No other Inscriptions or Marks.. 272 pages with b/w photographs/illustrations, line drawings, maps, etc. Overall a Very Clean, Tight and Bright copy. "A fascinating biography/history of one of Australias' Greatest Ships. The 'Alma Doepel' is a Three-masted topsail schooner and is one of the oldest such ships surviving." ; 4to 10" - 12" tall .
