London: B T Batsford Ltd. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket. Hardcover. No date, so presume 1st 1940 - US (1st UK was 1939). Odd publishing details, jacked says Batsford - t/p gives both Scribner's and Batsford. Colour frontis. Map to e/p's. 120 pp. Illus in black/white. Blank top corner of front flap to d/w cut off otherwise apart from brown offsetting on map e/p's near fine in a very good d/w. Neatly reinforced internally at the head/tail of d/w and externally at top of spine. Name/Writing on front pastedown. INTERNALLY NR FINE, VERY VERY CLEAN, TIGHT AND BRIGHT. EXCELLENT COPY. Brian cook illustrated d/w. The 130 photographs and the maps provide a documentation of the text which is as complete as it is beautiful. ; 002705; 8vo .
