Written by Laurence Oliphant, a South African-born British author, traveller, diplomat, British intelligence agent, Christian mystic, and Christian Zionist, as well as serving as a Member of Parliament. Bound by I. & E. Bumpus, Ltd., Oxford Street. Bound in full cloth. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning and the odd handling mark. Bound by I. & E.
