London: George Routledge & Son, 1852. Second edition, 1852, first published 1848. Attractively rebound guide to sport fishing in Great Britain, with a color frontis of flies. Three quarter black morocco leather over marbled boards, original spine lettering laid on, raised spine bands, just under 7" tall, marbled endpapers, 153 pages. Rebinding most likely late 19th century. Light external wear, frontis and title page professionally reattached to stubs (probably when rebound), minor chipping to inner margin of frontis, handsome engraved bookplate of Edward Hine Johnson on front free endpaper, pages clean and unmarked.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
