Volume I (Quadrupeds) of Rev Bingley's three volume Animal Biography, with chapters on Primates, Bats, Cats, Weesels (Weasels), Beavers, and including an account of The Duck-Billed Platypus ""not long ago discovered in New Holland""; bound in full calf, spine professionally restored and with new hinges; significant dampstain to first 20 odd pages, occasional lighter dampstain in text, text block tanned, some pages tanned, scattered foxing; boards rubbed, corners worn, spine dulled.
