Boston: Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 1864. Hardcover. Good +. Wright & Potter, state printers. 1022, 8, 22, 20 p., [4] unpaginated pages of folded tables: many in-text tables; 24 cm. Original black cloth with gilt-stamped spine title. Blind-stamped decoration on both boards and spine. Yellow endpapers. "Public Document No. 8" at head of title page. Former owner's inscription on front free endpaper: "H.A. Brewster, Baltimore Md. Feb. 27th 1865." Former owner's stamp on front fixed endpaper: "D.M. Wilcox, M.D. Physician and Surgeon, Lee, Mass." Contains detailed information on the Massachusetts troops involved in the Civil War. Scarce. In Good+ Condition: edges are rubbed with separation and minor loss at ends of spine and front joint; cover is lightly soiled; faint dampstain along front gutter, fore-edges of a few leaves, and upper right-hand corner of back fixed endpaper; otherwise, pages and folded tables are clean and tight.
