In Congo's vast Ituri forest among giant trees, magnificent ferns and fields of orchids and poinsettias there stands the Oicha mission hospital where Dr. Carl Becker has for 35 years given his life to save lives and keep his promise to God. This is the story of the day-to-day life of a missionary doctor who not only had to fight disease but the local superstitions about white witch doctors. His treatment of leprosy has been outstanding as has been his faith in the face of the anti-missionary onslaught. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
