About This Item

Boston: New York Graphic Society, 1981. Second printing. Folio: about fine in a very good dust jacket with a tear in the front panel. Laid into this copy is a photograph which served as the frontispiece, a label pasted at the bottom margin prints, “Winter Sunrise, Sierra Nevada, from Lone Pine, California. 1944 from a photograph by Ansel Adams [inked ‘AA’] This reproduction approved and initialed by the photographer.” This plate is superior in quality to that in the book.
