Italianate landscape with ruined buildings. The remenants of an aqueduct in the background. On the background to the right a pyramid (the Cestius Pyramid). A fountain, and some water on the foreground, to the left. Large trees, mountains on the left background. At center a shepherd with a flock.Numbered at bottom right: 6.Signed at bottom: Perelle Inv. et fecit. / le Blond avec privilege. 6[NL] Italianiserend landschap met vervallen gebouwen. Antieke ets gemaakt door Gabriël Perelle en Jean le Blond II. Etching on paper, trimmed on or within plate mark; total: 118 x 173 mm; some handling traces, rubbing and light dirt; signs of burning under the line of the illustration. In fair condition. Amsterdam watermark. Mounted on paper passepartout.
