With fold out engraved map and 1 full page engraving. Scattered foxing and library stamp of St. John's Seminary, Little Rock, Ark. Bound in full brown calf which is scuffed and worn. Spine with red spine label "Lingard's Anglo-Saxon Church" and slight loss to head of spine. A nice copy of this first edition history of the Church in Britain from its inception to the Norman Conquest.
