About This Item
Buffalo, NY: Geo. H. Derby and Co, 1851. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. A very presentable copy of the 1851 1st edition. Tight and VG in its light-green boards, with decorative blindstamping to the panels and bright gilt-titling at the spine. Very light rubbing along the bottom-edges, mild foxing and offsetting to the preliminaries. Thick octavo, "fourteen quarto plates and eighty engravings on wood" complementing E.G. Squier's text. Continuing from the title page: "With a Supplement of the Antiquity of the West"
