Illustrated with fourteen hand-coloured plates and twenty-four monochrome plates.Collated, complete.By the noted antiquarian John Thomas Smith, keeper of prints for the British Museum. This is considered to be his major work. In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Some minor marks and discolouration to the boards, heavier to the rear board. Rubbing to the leather, particularly to the spine. Small crack to the head of the joints. Bumping to the extremities. A small amount of loss of cloth to the extremities. Torn bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with some scattered spots. Good
