Reader reviews for Application of Finite Element Analysis for Engine Mount Component: Numerical Approach for Engineering Problems

From the publisher

This book insight the comparison of the results obtained by finite element model analysis of an automotive engine mount assembly. The improvement of vibration isolation and the ride quality by increasing passengers comfort ability under the study condition as been highlighted. The main objective of the book is that the vibration characteristics such as frequencies, mode shapes and damping factors of an automotive engine mount assembly are determined and compared using FEM. Use of parallel associated rubbers and nonlinear dynamic properties as a mean for improving the mounts dynamic behavior were reported.
