Complete 10 volume set, fully rebound in modern black leatherette, gilt spine lettering, new endpapers in each volume. Volume 1 dated 1853; remaining volumes 1870. Vg condition. Contemporary prev. owner name on half-title pg of Volume 1. Moderate foxing to Volume 1, none to remaining volumes. Contents mildly & uniformly age-toned as expected; occasional pencilled underline or marginal line (perhaps a dozen instances per volume); leaves remain supple -- no chipping or brittleness. Exteriors of all volumes clean & bright; bindings & hinges quite firm. 568 & 576 & 515 & 557 & 607 & 624 & 627 & 543 & 607 & 569 pp.
