Previous owners ink name on top and bottom edges, as well as front paste down. Cloth covers remain bright and clean, though show a little rubbing, and some light wear at spine ends and corners. Folding map shows a two inch closed tear from bound edge not affecting image. Volume remains tight and generally very clean.

Corners and spine ends lightly bumped and very lightly rubbed, endpapers age-toned and the paper over the hinges started but the book is tight and the binding is firm and square. Clean throughout. Containing 96 illustrations 64 from photographs & 32 in colour from paintings by E. W. Christmas. Second edition, 1/5000. Nice copy.
