Menasha, WI: George Banta Publishing Co, 1917. Hardcover. Very Good -. 387, [11] p.: illustrations; 20 cm. Blue cloth with black spine and cover titles. A guide to administration in the U.S. Army during World War I. Former owner's inscription on front free endpaper: William M. Kaufman E.A.C.N.A. Former owner's stamp on endpapers and title page: John J. McGinley, Allentown, Pa. The author, James A. Moss (1872-1941), was the commanding officer of the 367th Infantry Regiment in France in 1918 and 1919 during the First World War. Although he is identified correctly as a colonel on the title page, the cover states "Major James A. Moss." In Very Good- Condition: cover is rubbed and soiled; corners bumped; slightly shaken; pages are slightly browning but clean and solid.
