(Completely revised) Very large, thick, heavy softcover, glossy wrappers with photo of Hitchcock directing on front, black spine and back wrapper, 471 pages plus brief biographical note. Very light crease at bottom front tip. On title page in black ink: "Whitney--with good wishes, Donald Spoto. 11.11.94, Brockport." Ink name at top of first front end paper with phone number. Light wear to spine bottom left and right edge, thin brown stain at bottom of pages' from 419-447.
