Original hardcover, 111 pages, 16 pages of publishers' advertisements, illustrated with many black and white drawings taken from photographs, demonstrating various boxing positions. Very good condition, quarter cloth binding, with title on spine; decorative paper over boards.
After a short biography of the author, some of the many other subjects covered are: "Breakfast Diet," "Dumb-Bell Exercise," "Ducking," and "The Marquis of Queensberry Rules," to name a few.
