Boston: Cummings, Hilliard, and Co, 1826. First edition thus. 12mo, 68 pp & 1 plate Contemporary gray paper over boards crudely rebacked in red cloth (not recently). OCLC locates 5 copies
Rebacked, moderately soiled, front hinge started, foxed & toned, previous owner's name & date in pencil at title page, otherwise Very Good.
Described in the preface by the anonymous compiler as an abridgement of Walker's Elements of Elocution which, "divested of all minute disquisition, and rendered strictly practical in its character, might be a useful manual for schools."
