The book is inscribed to Morris Bloomfield:
"9/9/65 For Morris Bloomfield with best wishes Robert L. Fish"
The book later became a mystery thriller movie in1969 starring Oliver Reed, Diana Rigg and Telly Savalas.
The film was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1970.
