Lugduni: Laurentii Arnaud, Petri Borde, Joannis, & Petri Arnaud, 1679, 1665, 1678. First Edition. Three volumes in one; folio (36.5cm.); full blind-tooled contemporary pig skin, spine in six compartments, metal clasps, all edges stained blue (not contemporary); [6],263,[31];[6],293,[39];[18],684,[88]pp. (a4 A-2A6 2B3; ã4 A-2E4; ã4 6 A-2S6 2T4 2V4 2X-3L6 3M4 3N-3T6 3V4); woodcut initials, head and tail pieces. Slightly ex-library with faint mid-20th century markings, leather a bit darkened at extremities and spine, lacking blanks bound between volumes, textblock rather foxed; still, overall a Very Good, quite sturdy copy in an attractive contemporary binding. Three volumes of a total of nineteen on canonical law by the Portuguese author published in Lyon between 1657 and 1678.
