Collins, Sydney, 1975. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: photograph and Map. Preface by authors, bibliography and index. Dull blue coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with copious colour photographs and black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Bound in original cream/ecru cloth covered boards, with black coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with white and pale blue coloured titles to the front panel and blue and black coloured titles to the back strip. In this book the authors cover the least known half of the continent, the Northern monsoon region of Arnhem Land and the Kimberleys. Rubbing of the lower book edges and top back strip edge. Faint foxing of the text block edges and to the first few and last few pages of the book. A musty smell emanates from the book when the pages are rifled. A little creasing of the top dustwrapper edge with rubbing of the panels. Sunning of the back strip with a little foxing to the verso. Size: Folio ( 12"- 15" tall ). 208 pages.
