This the original 1941 edition large hardcover in dust jacket with 5050 code on front flap, now in protective, removable clear mylar cover. No additional printings indicated. Cover illustration of book and jacket is of a boy in red shirt feeding an apple to a black pony and sheep eating another apple the boy is holding behind his back; other animals watching. Book has slight edgewear, corners just starting to round; interior as new except name in neat ink on first page and pages a little tanned due to age.
