About This Item
New York: The Macmillan Company, 1904. Maroon boards, gold lettering on spine and front, decorative gold trellis pattern on spine, top edge gilt, 328 deckled pages plus one page of ads. Rubbed on ends of spine and tips of corners, lightly surface rubbed, two circular light patches (.25 and .75 inch) on rear, lower front corner bumped, corners bowed. Previous owner's inscription (dated 1906) in ink on ffep, tear (1/2 inch) on fore edge of page 183, cracked at pages 53 and 302 but binding firm and pages clean. Overall, very good plus.. First Thus. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No DJ. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
