Cloth boards in jacket. Long taped tear to rear of jacket. Some minor foxing to page edges, prev owner name whited out on front free endpaper, small bookseller label inside front cover. SIGNED by author on half-title page. Volume I covered the story of modern civil aviation in Papua New Guinea from the end of the Second World War to 1960, the year in which Qantas left PNG. This second volume (Volume II) continues the account to 1976, with its central theme the story of Talair and its rise to the position of one of the largest third-level operators in the world. . Signed by Author. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair.
