Joliet, IL: The P.F. Vollard Company, 1920. Twenty First. Hardcover in box. Very Good/Good. Gruelle, Johnny. 12mo. Unpaginated [36]. Pictorial purple boards and original box enclosure, both with colorful clock illustration and yellow titling. Box heavily worn, with soiling to front panel and chipping to edges, lid is lacking appx. 6 in. of one side, but the book has been well protected and remains very clean. Slight fading and rubbing to spine and spine ends, rest of exterior is fine. Bright pictorial endpapers and color illustrations throughout by Johnny Gruelle. Few leaves have light finger marks to fore edge, but mostly a very clean copy in scarce original box.
