Gilt titling and top edge somewhat faded. Soiling to cloth, heavier at spine. Dampstain to lower edge front board does not affect interior. Tipped-in plates all present, with tissue guards in tact. Some foxing scattered throughout, not affecting plates. Introduction by Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch.
