Corners rubbed, spine title bright, very light wear to cover. Ex-library copy with library preforated stamp to title page and stamp on front endpaper confirming purchase from library.Bookplate, no other marks. Some spine darkening where library label was removed at one time. Binding strong. 960 pages. Frontis engraving of Liverpool, title page vignette. Some foxing to prelims and title page, text is clean with some even toning to all pages. Solid copy overall. Stated enlarged and improved edition.
