Plain white endpapers. [i-vi], vii-xii prelim material, 1-213, [214] blank; unpaginated frontispiece b&w photo of subject. Author's foreword, seven chapters, bibliographical index. Condition notes: a solid but rather heavily worn copy: clipped dust jacket heavily worn with numerous chips and tears, protected with mylar. Spine ends rolled and corners bumped; edges lightly soiled. Former owner's name, neatly in pen, to front free endpaper. Green Foyle's book label, circa 1940s/50s, to front pastedown. Binding sound, slightly cocked. Pages clean and unmarked, with tanning/foxing throughout, more pronounced in opening and closing pages. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
