This short piece is listed under the "Transitions" column, page 42, which notes that John Steinbeck's novel, The Grapes of Wrath, was banned by an Illinois library board on grounds of obscenity, the board also ordered that its three copies of the book be burned, not recorded by Goldstone & Payne or Morrow. Near fine.
