About This Item
London: Harwood-Smart Publishing, 1976. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. An attractive copy of this early title by the best-selling Welsh novelist. The second Piers Roper story, following The Shakeout. A VG copy indeed, pushed at the spine tips, corners lightly bumped. Slightly cracked at the title and first couple of gatherings but tight and reasonably square. The dustjacket is also in VG shape - Near Fine, in fact with just minor tanning to flaps and a tiny scrape to the laminate near the gutter at the front cover. Loosely inserted a small, plain white card which has been boldly hand-signed by Ken Follett in black ink, ideal size for mounting in the book.
