In a near fine dust jacket with a deeply price clipped jacket flap, else fine The first edition of this book was published in 1980. It was revised by the author by re-writing the section on the natural history of the bears to reflect the new knowledge that had been learned on the ecology of the Yellowstone grizzly bears. 263 pages with index, text, sketches and photographs.
