Good-Very Good. sm 4to. b&w illustrations Scarce Australian Hairdressing Periodical The Beauty Salon, Vol 8 No 4 February 1943, being the official publication of The Master Ladies' Hairdressing Association of New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland; stapled wraps, showing Janet Blair photo to front cover; lengthy article on overtime clauses for the hairdressing industry, b&w photo illustrations of the hairstyles of Hollywood actresses, and some nice period advertising; also a WWII tie-in, with an advert urging the recycling of bottle tops, another by Rondo products urging investment in war-savings certificates to 'help Australia...reply...to the Japanese aggression and menace to our freedom'; wraps a little rubbed and with mild creases, minor dampstain to corners of some pages, original staples a little rusted (but holding), o.w. G-VG.
