Before Scarlett: Girlhood Writings of Margaret Mitchell, compiled and edited by Jane Eskridge Found in a basement amidst half a century's worth of boxes and memories, Eskridge and her husband found the early writings of a young Margaret Mitchell. All of Mitchell's personal papers were to have been destroyed after her death, but somehow this box of short stories was forgotten. Fully illustrated and includes 28 stories, some incomplete.
