Tan-colored calf over boards with two thick brown full-size paper panels. Decorated with elaborate gilt-tooling to top board. An outstanding promotional piece with lovely color plates. Printed letterpress with beautiful late 1920's design work throughout, especially ornamental are the title and frontis pages. The book gives a short history of the area as well as the proposed plan for the new development and country club. Printed on thick sheets. Foxed to edges; off-setting; Backstrip loose. Slipcase included.

Includes poems by Joaquin Miller, Robinson Jeffers, George Sterling, Helen Hunt Jackson and others.. A prospectus for the upscale development , as well as a history of the area. Elegantly designed front board with elaborate gold and black design on deep tan background and light tan border and spine. Several beautiful tipped in maps and color plates leaving neat offsets on the text opposite. SLIGHT WEAR TO BOARD EDGES, FOXING TO ENDPAPERS (BUT NOT TEXT), OTHERWISE A FINE, CLEAN COPY HOUSED IN A FINE BLACK CLOTH COVERED SLIPCASE. Scarce, especially with the slipcase.
