Duluth,MI: Pfiefer-Hamilton, 1989 225 pp with B&W illustrations in text. Twelve Soviet and Americans set out from Siberia in mid-winter 1989 on an epic trek across 1000 miles of Arctic tundra. Ultimately the Bering Bridge Expedition led to an agreement allowing free travel across the Soviet-American border for the region's native population. Text is clean, tight and unmarked, Blue cloth boards are clean and undamaged save for a little bumping to spine ends. DJ is clean, bright with some shelfwear. In mylar jacket. 3000812.
