Octavo (22cm); stone-patterned paper-covered boards and beige cloth backstrip, with titles stamped in dark brown on spine; rose-colored topstain; map endpapers; dustjacket; [xii],[2],3-368,[4]pp. Sunning to topstain, a few faint scuffs to right edge of textblock, else a clean, Near Fine copy. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $3.95), gently spine-sunned and lightly edgeworn, with a few closed tears; Near Fine. Well-preserved copy of the West Virginia author's third book, and the first volume in her "Beulah Quintet," set in Colonial America between the Endless Mountains and Virginia.
