Nine major divisions denote the major classes of books: Catholic, Protestant, biblical literature, humanism, law and politics, science, classical literature, school texts, and vernacular literature. These broad categories are then further divided according to subject matter and each book is placed within the appropriate topical division by date. This method of collating the books makes it possible to discover immediately when a particular genre of books first appeared and the dates during which it continued to be important. Very Good.
