A Amsterdam: Henri Schelte, 1707. First Edition. Hardcover. Good+. 32mo (3.125"x5.25"). 422pp plus table of contents. Full leather binding. Boards rubbed. 5 raised bands to spine. Gilt adornment to spine still visible. Crimson spine labels intact. Top and rear hinges, front and back each split approximately 1" each. Board corners bumped and rubbed. Lovely marbled end papers. All text block edges red colored. Some foxing to text block but over all pages are bright. Includes fold-out page of illustrated ancient military medals. Prior owner library label on front pastedown endpaper, "M. De Lilly". Brief pencil notations to rear endpaper, else no marks. Text in French.
