About This Item

New York: William R. Scott, Inc, 1956. Boards. Near Fine/Very Good +. Rosella Hartman. The 1956 true 1st edition, in its elusive dustjacket. Clean and Near Fine in its pictorial boards, with just a touch of subtle bowing. And in a crisp, price-intact ($2.25), VG+ to Near Fine example of the matching dustjacket, with one small closed tear at the front panel's top-edge and very light chipping along the tips. Oblong octavo, wonderfully illustrated thruout by Rosella Hartman. An early posthumous work by the great Margaret Wise Brown (1910-1952).
