This works highlights the public services rendered by and private history of Prince Frederick over the course of his lifetime. A scarce work.Written by John Watkins. Containing thirteen full page engraved plates, one of which is folding, collated and complete. In contemporary half calf binding.Containing a previous owner's ink signature to one of the front free-endpapers: 'Stephen Hill, Birmingham'. In contemporary half calf binding and marbled boards. Externally, some shelf wear to the boards, and rubbing to the spine, joints, and extremities. Front joint is starting and rear joint is tender. Previous owner's signature to one of the front free-endpapers. Internally, hinges strained, remaining binding is firm. Pages contain instances of light spotting, more prominent to the first and last few pages as well as to the plates. Good Only

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
