Quite a lot of creasing and small tears to the edges of price-clipped dustwrapper, some bumping to spine ends and corners of brown leatherette-type boards but gilt titles on spine and front board are all still bright, as is the gilt bird on front board. Otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book, part of the publisher's "Wayside and Woodland" series. Originally published in 1920, this is a much later reprint from 1941. The first in the author's three-part series on British Birds. 412pp, 242 colour and 78 b&w illustrations.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
