In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Illustrated with headpieces, illuminated letters, a full colour frontispiece and two coloured plate. This charming work provides a study on the homes and habitats of birds such as the 'greenfinch', 'magpie' and the 'rook'. In the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally very smart with rubbing to the extremities and joints, bumping to the extremities of the boards, minimal cockling to the boards and sight fading to the spine. Internally generally firmly bound with frontispiece tender and one plate disbound but present. Pages lightly age toned and generally clean with white marks to the verso of the frontispiece and the odd minor handling mark. Good
